As I move away from Wattpad, I thought it a good idea to add a book to my profile there, in which it states where to find my books. I also included book covers and the blurb for each story, with the intent of providing readers enough info to wet their bookish appetite. 

However, whilst adding information to this book, Wattpad has decided to mark the book as 'Mature' despite it being just an informative book. 

There were no mature themes at all in it - it was just a few pages of book blurbs and book covers. So, I honestly don't understand Wattpad's decision. Yes, my books are for more mature readers, but I put nothing 'mature' in my book blurbs as a way to safeguard younger readers if they happen to stumble across them. 

Rather than fight Wattpad over something so small and trivial, I thought I'd give them good reason to mark my information book as mature, and have since added chapters of each of my books in it, including the first spicy one of This Christmas! I've made sure to add the correct mature labels to it now and have changed the age from 'Everyone' to '18+'.

With the rise in scammers, spammers and bot accounts, Wattpad really does have bigger things to worry about other than to mark someone's information book as 'Mature', but I guess that's the price of using AI to do a human's job (and you all know my feelings on AI!)
