I just finished reading "Hemlock Clan: What I Am" in the wee hours of this morning and I want to tell you just how amazing the book is.

Your creative writing skills are some of the very best I have ever read - and I have read thousands of books over the years. The pictures you paint in each and every chapter are incredibly vivid. The images are extraordinary. You make me feel the passion with each and every sentence and you bring the characters to life.

Even among those stories I have place into my favourites lists, this book stands out high above the vast majority of them. You seduce the readers with your words - captivating them with a fantastic cast of characters.

As I read the book, with each passing chapter, I felt that I was right in the middle of it all; a part, in essence, of both Blake and Cameron as they each evolved. You brought out a reality to them that, in my opinion, very few ever achieve.

Add to that is the fact that you surrounded them with an incredible cast of secondary characters - Gabriel, Sage, Rosie and Amaya , just to name a few.

To me, you developed Lance's character in just the right way - going from a disturbance one knew to be wary of - but not yet a major problem - to the unbalanced evil that he eventually showed himself to be ending with the astounding cliffhanger at the end of the book.

Thank you so much for having both writing and sharing this story. It truly is amazing and I can't wait until the next part comes out.
